Sustainability

    Materials

All materials are carefully chosen with longevity and environmental impact in mind. Every effort is made to source raw materials from within the UK to reduce carbon miles.

Where this is not possible the carbon footprint is offset by offering support to biodiverse planting schemes.

  • Two brown packages, one with a first-class label from Etsy, and grey stickers that say 'Gorgeous goodies for a gorgeous person.'

    Packaging

The utmost care is taken when packaging your goodies to make sure they get to you safely

In most cases your item will arrive packed in fully recyclable and compostable materials. Occasionally you may receive non-recyclable materials such as bubble wrap - this has been reused from other packages.

  • Various colored acrylic pieces with intricate cutouts and patterns on a laser cutting machine bed.

    Waste

Efficient use of materials is good for business as well as the environment but creating waste is always inevitable. Therefore by working in conjunction with other makers; waste acrylic is recut and turned into smaller products. Any waste still remaining is either recycled or repurposed.

Waste acrylic can be a great drainage material for plant pots!

Materials

  • Stack of colored plastic sheets in a rainbow of colours.

    Perspex

Perspex provides high-quality product with a varied range of finishes and colours.

It’s exceptional durability, UV and moisture resistance means a piece can look as new 5 years down the line as the day it was created. This ability to remain unchanged fits perfectly with a slow living lifestyle.

Acrylic can also be recycled to create new sheets of material. A concept I hope to explore one day soon.
